Our gatherings are steeped in Manawahine teachings, ‘Mana’ having many meanings both spiritual power / life essence and integrity to name a few, ‘Wahine’ translating to Woman.

Kurawaka Australia is here to support all wahine to activate and or strengthen their Te Reo Maori / our native language, receive important wisdoms woven throughout our Waiata (songs), Sound Healing, Ceremony, Aroha (love) and so much more…

Based from a Maori perspective focusing on the ancient women’s calling the ‘Karanga’, Aunty Te Raina will share her ONE OF A KIND program highlighting her wealth of knowledge and offering insights to the Mana of Wahine and the Mana of Te Whare Tangata our womb wisdom.

Women all around the world are rising once again and are here to help you revolutionise, reclaim, rebirth this knowledge through ancient practices, bringing you safely to your inner voice, re-weaving the connected tissue or pathways to your divine Manawahine/Feminine Power!

Even if you are not Maori and have no experience with the Maori Language this is a wonderful introduction level and we welcome you all with loving arms.

Are you ready for positive new energies to flow throughout your family, work, community and further?

Join us in calling to the home that lies within us all, awaken the deep sense of innate knowing we all have access to.

accommodation

A new architecturally designed weekend beach house sits on the water’s edge of ‘Home Beach’ – Point Lookout. Our own private walkway through the trees leads us down to the water’s edge, making the perfect setting for those morning rituals and refreshing cleanses, after a deep learning module or sonic therapy session.

Our sacred gathering will incorporate a ‘Marae’ style sleeping arrangement, meaning together under one roof, assisting in the bonding of our Hui and expansion within and to one another.

We have a range of bunk style sleeping and queen beds for mother/daughter/friend relationships. We most definitely suggest you bring your dearest sister, mother or daughter with you on this journey. This kind of retreat is a wonderful time for family bonding.

Please book as soon as this hits your heart and let us know in your booking if you are a single traveller or in a group so we can do our best to accommodate you.
